• It installed on my computer without a hitch.
• Many applications available for the latest release in rpm format.
• It's totally FREE
• Meaning you can install it on as many computers as you want.
• Meaning you will have to do some additional work
  to get some things to work
  like mp3's.

• I bought a book with an included install CD. Recommended!
• It installed without a hitch.
• I installed Apt - Synapsis
  for updating and installing new programs.
• I use the KDE desktop.

How to get distributions:

• Download and burn the disk.
• Using your favorite p2p (peer to peer) program.
• From web sites.
• fedora.redhat.com
• list of mirrors
• Use torrent.
• Buy a book with an included install CD. Recommended!
• Get a copy from a friend.
• Buy CD/DVD off eBay.
