• The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights
  • shall not be construed to deny or disparage
    • others retained by the people.

Notes

The people who adopted the Bill of Rights wanted to be sure that the Government and its employees would be kept "inside the fence" built around its limited powers enumerated in the Constitution. This amendment makes this clear.

The RIGHTS from our CREATOR are encompassed in the 9th Amendment. This means "Freedom of Choice", and Right to maintain our health by natural or alternative methods, or the right to choose to do as we please, as long as we do not harm the rights, life, liberty or property of others.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights were intended as strict restrictions on government power. Those powers not explicitly granted to government were retained by the individual. Today the Constitution has been stood on its head. Courts are now saying anything the government wants to do is permissible, unless explicitly prohibited by the Constitution. Government now has nearly unlimited power, and the American people are losing control of their own properties, lives and destinies.
